SC Information

USC is located in Southern California and is home to a myriad of coastal communities and large, business-oriented centers. Famous for its tourism, Southern California is the home of such attractions as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, the Hollywood Bowl and The Irvine Spectrum.

While Santa Ana serves as the governmental center of Orange County, Anaheim is the main tourist destination, while Irvine is the major business and financial hub.

Southern California is the headquarters of many Fortune 500 companies including Ingram Micro and First American Corporation in Santa Ana, Western Digital in Lake Forest, and Pacific Life in Newport Beach. Irvine is the home of numerous start-up companies and is also the headquarters of Fortune 1000 companies Allergan, Broadcom, Edwards Lifesciences, Epicor, Standard Pacific and Sun Healthcare Group. Other Fortune 1000 companies in the area include Beckman Coulter in Fullerton, Quiksilver in Huntington Beach and Apria Healthcare Group in Lake Forest.
